petite isn't really petite

So called "petite" sizing is way too long in the body. I cannot use the hand-warmer pockets they are too low. It is as though they took a regular sized jacket, merely shortened the arm length, and left everything else the same. This is disappointing to say the least. I wear L or XL petite. I may need a little more room in the around body, but I'm still a short person. True petite sizing should not be this long.

Awesome Coat!!

I rated this a 5 on value because I got it online Black Friday. It's an awesome coat and really warm, at least for the Texas cold.

Superior 3.0 Down Parka vs. Stadium Coat

I ordered this coat and the superior 3.0 stadium coat. I live in Gunnison, CO and have finally decided after living here for 6 years that I need a warm winter parka since the temperature is often 30 degrees below in the winter. The length and thickness of the stadium coat was great. I absolutely felt like I was wrapped up in an amazing comfy blanket when I put it on; however, I decided on the superior 3.0 down parka for a couple of reasons. I ordered a Medium Tall in both coats-- I'm 5'9", weigh 150lbs, and typically wear a size 8. Unfortunately, both coats were tight in the shoulders when I crossed or lifted my arms but fit differently in the mid section. The stadium coat was larger in the mid section and I felt like a large would look way too blocky even with the elastic cinched in the middle. The second thing I didn't like were the buckles on the side. The strap isn't adjustable so if you cinch the coat down with the elastic pulls on the inside the outer adornment doesn't necessarily match and honestly I just did not like the look of the silver hardware on the sides-- Way too uppity looking without practicality. The Superior 3.0 Down Parka has a very flattering taper at its length from the front to the back, a sleek fit without any unpractical adornments, and is more proportional throughout. It hits upper thigh and tapers down to warmly wrap your butt and back mid thighs. I felt confident ordering up a size in the Superior 3.0 Down Parka and that it'd still have a flattering fit. It was slightly snug as a medium tall in the shoulders and glutes. Both are beautiful, well manufactured coats, with the best fleece lined pockets ♡

Chilly arms.

I really wanted to love this jacket and while my torso was very toast, my arms were ice cold. The air seemed to have been coming through the elbows which was very disappointing so I think I'll have to return it.
