awesome looking jacket

Great looking jacket, however it does run small.

Love It!

Make sure you size up! I am 148 lbs, 5'5". I bought a large, usually wear a medium in EB jackets. It's warm, it's comfy, the fit is great!

Warm but lets air in

I am 5'4" with long arms and broad shoulders and usually wear a medium. This coat, like the EB one I was replacing, required a large size. I got this one to cover my back side. It does that but lets air up because there is no inner waist cinching and no cinching on the sleeve at the wrist (old coat had these). The pockets are inside the down, which is nice protection from outside air, but air coming up the jacket goes past the unlined inside of the pockets so gloves are needed in the pocket. I should have returned it but can't afford the in-season price now. Bought it at the end of last season and love the teal color. Also, it's not super clear in the description that the hood doesn't come off, just the fur ruff, but it's a good hood. I guess I'm still looking.

Nice Warm coat

Received this coat about a week ago. Have worn it several times. It seems to be quite waterproof and windproof. Has a nice coating on the outside. I am 5'09" 160 lbs torso measurements 40,32,38. Carry my weight high. I bought the XL tall after reading the comments that it ran small. I believe it does run a little small, especially if you are going to wear a sweatshirt/sweater underneath. The arms are cut close, not really tight, but slim - however a sweater still fits inside them. The hood is large and very warm. The jacket is slightly longer than it looks in the picture. The hips are slightly flared, but I am slim in that area, so it's not really noticeable, I am just worried that with the extra girth it will let in cold air. I wish it had a knitted band around the bottom, but that doesn't seem to be the style, I am more practical than stylish! The only real thing I don't like is relatively minor: the pockets bulge slightly when you sit, unless they are zipped. I put my hands in the pockets all the time, so they are usually open, they are big enough and well placed. All in all, a good jacket, easy to put on, with a nice hood, reasonably warm and lightweight. I love that EB offers tall sizes. As long as they do, I will continue to buy all my coats here.
