Beautiful coat!

Love this coat! Looks good, warm love the white color.

2nd Coat I've ordered, I'm hooked!

I had ordered a longer winter coat earlier in the year and was so impressed. I needed a shorter jacket type coat so I ordered this. Still amazed at the quality. Down doesn't leak which is impossible to find in all my searches. Love the look.

Very nice - qestionable quality

Purchased this as a Christmas present for my girlfriend and it ripped at a pocket seam after a month. I returned the item and customer service gifted me a new coat which seems to be lasting fine. She loves the coat!

Good but needs some improvements...

I bought the "Snow" color Slate Mountain 2.0 down jacket. I got the jacket on sale, so I will keep it. If I had to buy it at full price I would have returned it because there are too many details that other jackets have that seem to be overlooked in this jacket. I ordered my usual size according to the size chart. The jacket fits for the most part, but for me seemed to run just a bit small across the shoulders - especially noticeable when reaching forward or across body. It isn't enough to make me exchange the jacket for a larger size and I think the next size up would be too big everywhere else. The jacket is lined with some kind of a heavy nylon. It's a light grey color and I think it looks cheap. It would have been better to line it with the same color as the outer jacket, or a darker contrasting fabric. The pockets are lined with the same grey nylon on one side and a felt-like material on the other. I think it would have been better to line the entire pocket with the felt material. The inner pocket is in the front, middle of the jacket, right next to the main zipper. It is shallow, but you can get a phone in it. The sleeves do not have inner elastic at the wrist to keep the cold out, but the length is good. There is no inner drawcord at the waist to keep the cold out. The faux fur trim snaps off, which is good, because I don't plan on using it, but the dark colored snaps are placed in such a way that you can see them when the fur is off - and on a white jacket they are noticeable. The jacket looks light weight, but it's warm enough for doing errands in cold temperatures. I have not worn it in the mountains in winter, where I need serious warmth, I'm just not sure it would handle the serious cold. I like the chevron pattern and the slight drop tail hem in back. It is very hard to find down jackets in petite sizing so I appreciate the fact that Eddie Bauer carries different size ranges, not just regular sizes.
