I have an extraordinarily difficult time finding any type of pants that fit my shape: wide waist, small hips. If they fit my waist, they bag in the hips. Slip-on pants are my best bet. These are perfect. I particularly like the style that seems to be emerging this Spring of above the ankle length pants that flare at the bottom especially in jeans. Because jeans just aren't an option for me due to how poorly they fit, these are the perfect alternative. They fit just below my natural waist (does produce a little muffin top for me which is no big deal if I'm wearing a shirt or dress over them) and fits through the hip area perfectly. I've seen negative reviews from some of the petite sized folks, but I think it's important to remember that these pants are designed to fit above the ankle. I just don't want potential buyers to be discouraged in trying these. These pants are not meant to wear like full-length pants. I love wearing this style under dresses or tunics. It's a really sharp look, but perfect for casual or athletic wear as well; they are super comfortable! The material is a nice weight, not too lightweight where there is no structure, but not too heavy that it would be uncomfortably warm. Give these a try if you like this style as much as I do. Thanks Eddie Bauer! How about the same style in wide-leg?
