Good overall except for the hood

ProsHat falls of with any small windHood cannot be adjusted or faux fur and hat looks too big and bulky letting air inHood can be detached ( snap-off) but there is a gap space between neck and hat allows air to go in feels coldGets wet in rain and snow not exactly water repellent specially if in the rainFeels bulky under arms, too wide arm in the back makes arm and shoulders look hugeConsLike the warm fleece in pockets and around neck for extra warmthI like is light weight and warmgood zipperlike buttons option additional to zippernice color optionsgood length

Good value, but if unless you are very slim I would not recommend this coat. It cuts you off around your hips and has that apple effect. Also the coat is very puffy which further makes you look larger. The coat is extremely warm though and of great quality. Coat runs small across chest area, as most Eddie bauer coats do.

So warm and cozy!

I felt it was just a little big throughout the body of the coat but the arms fit very well. It works though because I usually layer up in the winter anyway! I am 6' tall so I wished the sleeves were a little longer but it works. I have never owned a down parka before and I'm never going back! SO WARM AND COZY. Love this coat.

Nice coat, but...

I bought this coat last year in the dark berry color. Overall, I've been pleased with it. There are two things, though, that really ought to be changed. First, the pockets need to be larger. I'm petite with slender hands, but the pockets are barely big enough for my hands, let alone a cell phone or anything else besides a Kleenex. Second, the hood, while a good size and shape, is at cross purposes with the faux fur trim. The drawstring and snaps simply don't work together. If the drawstring is tightened to keep out wind and cold, the hood and trim separate, leaving obvious gaps where the hood is gathered inward but the trim is not. Frankly, that looks stupid, so I never use the drawstring. Making the trim detachable as a precaution against it getting accidentally tossed in the dryer and fried seems like a good idea, but snaps aren't a viable way to achieve that. I suggest either using a thin, flexible zipper in place of snaps or forgetting the idea altogether. :)
