Women's Girl On The Go Insulated Trench Coat

Live Your Adventure®

This cross-seasonal trench coat is made with our WeatherEdge® technology that's fully seam-sealed for complete waterproof/breathable protection. It's also windproof. Lightweight, durable ripstop polyester shell has a moisture-shedding StormRepel DWR finish. A button-in liner of ThermaFill insulation adds warmth when the temperature drops.

Perfect For All Occasions And Weather
"Great for rain, and toasty warm for cold weather. When the insulated lining is detached, it becomes a light jacket. And it's dressy enough to wear as a wrap for going out to dinner."

NOTE: Temperature ratings are based on a controlled laboratory test, using low and moderate activity levels. Also consider: your sensitivity to cold and wind-chill; time of exposure; activity level; and use of layering.

Left package on the roadside in a busy city

Firstly, whoever they hired to deliver the coat left the package on the sidewalk, outside my apartment building in a busy city. I was lucky that a neighbor happened to be coming home as the truck was leaving, or it would have been gone into someone else's hands. Secondly, the coat was ridiculously large. It's a shame that Eddie Bauer continues to think that all tall people are fat, and don't make smaller sizes available. I'm almost 6 feet tall, have linebacker size shoulders, and still the sleeves on this came down to my fingertips. It was like a child playing dressup in their parents clothes. The only reason I marked it 2 stars instead of fewer stars is the ease of free returns, and it looks like a quality coat, if they had carried it in my size. But since I can't trust delivery after this experience, I will never be ordering from Eddie Bauer again.

Runs Small

Coat runs small. I ordered a Petite Small (I'm 4'11" and 125 lbs.) With the lining in, the sleeves were extremely tight and the torso snug. With the lining out, the coat had a tailored look. But, why buy a coat with a liner, if you can't use it? I ended up ordering a Petite Medium, which is more comfortable with the liner in; without the liner the coat still looks good, and I can wear a sweater underneath if I need to. I should have paid more attention to the reviews about the arms being too narrow and too long! I will keep the Petite Medium (with the sleeves turned up at the cuff).

Great look and function

I purchased this coat for the in-between seasons we have on the Atlantic coast here in Newfoundland, Canada, this coat is perfect for those wet and cold days. The style of the coat is clean and classic. I love the length for covering enough that you won't get soaked in drizzle or full on down pour. The removable liner is great for temperature changes that require just that bit of warmth against the damp cold that would be too warm with a winter coat or warmer temperatures with wind and rain showers. I am 5'4" and weigh around 130lbs. I purchased a small which allows me to add a sweater if it is a really cold day. There is room (but not swimming in the coat) with no sweater on but I like having the option. This coat is great for the unique climate here on the island yet fashionable.

Go to raincoat.

I bought this to take to Europe on a vacation. I did take out the lining because I didn't need it, but it will come in handy for the fall. It was attractive and packed easily. Fortunately it didn't rain, but did come in handy on windy days.
