I adore these shoes. I got them in the Spring of 2018 and broke them in running a few errands. I took them on a short in-town hike in a dessert climate and later in the Sawtooth mountains. They are incredibly comfortable. I've seen some people point out that the tongue construction of the boot hurts their foot, and I can see how this could happen, but I just loosen my laces and they seem to be fine while still offering support. I wish I had taken them instead of a more traditional snow boot on my trip to Iceland last December, as they proved incredible waterproof and equally great for in-town urban excursions when I was in New Zealand in July. I currently still wear them on very slick days in the city and they're great. I love the way to look too.Fair warning: What these are NOT is light-weight. If you're looking for a super-light-weight boot, these are not them. Also, I imagine if you have a very narrow foot these may be too roomy for you.
