I have purchased many puffy jackets over the last decade and none of them were doing the job. This jacket maintains your temperature beautifully. Never overheats you but keeps you nice and toasty. It's not a light as most puffy jackets, but that's not why you will buy this jacket. It's only slightly heavier but you won't regret it. It has the best layering system you can get with waterproof outside, and a nice insulated layer that makes you feel warm and cozy. There's more! I love this jacket because you can wear it for anything you do. I go skiing and hiking in this jacket, wear it to work and out to a nice dinner because it has such a stylish fit. I'm 5'2" and fits perfectly.

Fantastic snowboarding jacket

5

Bought this jacket to have something warm and waterproof for snowboarding. Really put it to the test in Washington state snowboarding in Stevens Pass in wet windy conditions and it was great at keeping me warm and dry on the lift and not over warm when actively snowboarding. Also use it regularly in Alaska and it's great for the colder temps we get up here. This is a very warm jacket when active and the vents are great as well as fairly easy to open up with gloves on. Sizing runs true to size with room for a fleece layer underneath. The only problem I had with this jacket was not being able to fit my iPhone in a dedicated pocket, the vents have mesh and can be kind of used as giant pockets but then you can't open them up if you have your phone in there. There is a chest pocket but it wasn't big enough for my giant phone. Literally the only thing I have a problem with is the pocket size, otherwise this jacket works great for me and I'm really glad I spent the money for it.

Great jacket

Nice lightweight jacket at a great price. Great that it comes in Tall. I'm 5'9" and it covers me nicely - not skimpy like so many other down jackets. It runs small so I got a Tall Large rather than a Tall Medium. The Medium was tight and I couldn't wear a sweater underneath.
