Fits nicely in a mitt or glove but it doesn't throw a lot of heat. The heat seems to be concentrated on one side and at the bottom of the appliance. If you actually use the "sock", you won't get any warmth at all. Glad I got it on sale because at full price it would have been a massive disappointment. I was hoping for more from Eddie B. :-(

Keeps hands warm

I'm happy with my hand warmer. It works well

Overall, great handwarmer!

So I had been excited to find this on sale while I was standing in line, but was surprised to see all the negative reviews online when I got home. I decided to test it out for myself in case I needed to return the handwarmer. Here are my thoughts:* It takes longer to charge than I expected (around 3 hours)* I had to use a sewing needle to get the lanyard through the hole, but since I'm not even sure I'm going to use the lanyard, it's not a big deal* Per another reviewer's suggestion, I used the knit piece as an insulating sleeve. I kept it wrapped around the handwarmer while warming up (and the rest of the time, too). It does take a few minutes to get fully warm (10-15 minutes), but then it becomes amazingly HOT! I keep the insulating sleeve on it to keep the handwarmer warm, but move it down and use my bare hands on the actual handwarmer itself to warm myself up; I then move the knit insulating sleeve back up to cover the handwarmer and allow it to get hot again for about half a second before using it again.* The warmth from the low setting is pretty good, but the warmth from the high setting is excellent.* When fully charged, the low setting didn't seem to last as long as advertised (it turned off after about 3-4 hours), while the high setting also lasted about 3.5 hours (which was what it said it would do).Overall, I think it's a great handwarmer and am planning on keeping it. I've tried chemical handwarmers, but they don't get as warm as this handwarmer, and they tend to leave weird stains on my hands. This one was hot, tidy, and easy to use.

Waste of Funds

It simply does not give warmth to a degree that is useful in any way.
