Warm, look good, but poor quality

I work in an office, and bought these for my 20 minute walk to and from work. Only used them to pick up my laptop bag, and groceries. The fingers tips started to wear within a week. In no way are these work gloves as advertised.Returned.

    Nice, straightforward leather glove

Picked these up for snowboarding on warmer days when my insulated leather gore-tex gloves are overkill. Wanted leather for the durability, but didn't really need insulation and I'm very pleased with these. There are obviously plenty of cheap plain leather options out there but these have good dexterity from the soft leather and E.B. has a great warranty so it was an easy choice for me. I did apply a wax treatment to them to keep the moisture out and to protect the leather as much as possible and so far its worked. (Note: it makes them look VERY used, but i'm not overly concerned with style)Also, as another reviewer mentioned, they do run a bit small. I'm usually between L and XL and the XL only just fits my hands.

    Size does count

I bought the XL size and I'm glad I did as they are a tight fit. L, which I was going to buy - I consider my hand size to be L not XL - would have been too small for me to fit into. Even so, XL is a tight fit. I'm trusting that there is some natural stretch in the gloves. Even so they are quite likely to be a snug fit even after having been "run in". More generous sizing would increase the comfort. Despite all the above, they are doing sterling service in an unseasonably late and chilly English Spring.
