I bought this jacket as a Christmas gift for my fiancee. We love the look and feel of most Eddie Bauer clothing, especially how well it lasts over time and through our adventures! We live in ND and frequently go on trips out of the area and love hiking and camping and he needed a jacket to fit our lifestyle.I am very disappointed in this jacket and it does not match the quality of other Eddie Bauer items. The large tall fit my 6ft 4" fiancee very well and is stylish. However, with only a week of casual wear to and from work the feathers began coming out all over the jacket. It has now been a month of wearing and there are feathers everywhere, coming out everyday. He has not even worn this jacket during any trips, camping and hiking, and it is already coming apart from casual wear. I am sad to say this is a poorly made product that will not stand the test of time and was not worth the money paid. :(

I've had the 2.0 for a few weeks now. So far it's just as good as the original which I own and still use after 5 years. Fit is perfect for me, not baggy and not too tight. I'm 6' and 210 lbs and the large is perfect to wear by itself or layer under ski jacket. My original developed a small hole on top of shoulder from carrying laptop back pack and workout bag but not complaining after 5 years. When you get it on sale, it's unbeatable in my opinion.

I have the older model with stretch. I wear it more than all my coats together! Alone and layered. Warmest per weight and thickness of any thing I've ever owned. Years old. Still great. Go to EB

The fabric for this jacket seemed extremely cheap and thin for the price, even on sale. The insulation layer was barely noted. I have had windbreakers that would have provided more warmth! The inside pocket had raw, fraying fabric edges where the seams were not properly sewn to the lining. I returned this jacket to our local store and purchased a much higher quality jacket for my husband. Thoroughly disappointed in the lack of quality of this Eddie Bauer jacket!
