Awesome ski coat
Use it for skiing over 60 days a season. Very warm, even on the coldest days I only wear a t-shirt and fleece as base layers. Fantastic coat. Be warned though that the red color is very intensely red!

Built for winter in the alpine, this waterproof, insulated jacket combines the unrestricted mobility of stretch construction in both the shell and lining, together with critical sub-zero warmth and complete weather protection. The guide tested and approved feature set inludes an adjustable, insulated hood; external chest pockets; high hand pockets for pack compatibility; an internal chest pocket; and a drawcord hem for adjusting the fit and sealing out cold.
"Avalanche Education can be pretty wet work. It involves a lot of digging in the snow, getting in and out of snow pits and setting up rescue scenarios. I need a jacket that will keep me warm and protected from the elements while moving with me and allowing me to get some serious work done. The BC Igniter Stertch fits that bill perfectly."
Seth Waterfall, Eddie Bauer Alpine Climbing Guide
Classic: A universal fit. Not too slim, not too relaxed on body. Designed to fit over midweight layers.

I will agree with a few others that it runs a bit slim, but at just a hair under 6' and 195 lbs, the Medium fits me exactly how I want it to, and the fit will remain good even when I lose my holiday weight. We just got over a foot of snow, and with just a base layer, and this coat (along with my fleece lined guide pants), I was able to work outside for the 2 hours it took to get the driveway and sidewalks cleared, without feeling cold once - when I started shoveling, I was actually sweating, but the breathability of this coat worked just fine and I dried rather quickly. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this coat, and it is my favorite piece of gear - as well as my favorite coat I've owned.

Have had this coat for about 2 months, bought to replace old The North Face Apex Bionic Hoodie. Size small fits very well- I am 5'7" and 160lbs. Has become my daily jacket.Worn in some cold conditions so far on Canada's East coast. With only a t shirt under, it has kept me warm down to -10 C even with some wind. It is surprisingly warm despite being light weight- maybe because of the primaloft insulation? also really like the fabric lined hand warmer pockets. Price is fair for the quality, especially compared to some more expensive brands. Found a great deal on Black Friday.

Sleeves are very long, while jacket is tight around the mid section, as other reviewers have mentioned. If advertised as slim-fit, I could have saved myself a lot of time and trouble.
