I read a number of reviews that said true to size. I have worn a size 12 regular width shoe and boot since I was in the 8th grade, and I will be turning 64 years old in two months. These fit like an 11 1/2 narrow. Being snug they compress the insulation and are not at all warm, they are rather chilly. I have a worn out, virtually having holes in them, less well made, less attractive and less expensive somewhat different design pair I purchased from Cabela's that even with the holes are warmer than what I purchased from Eddie Bauer. Unfortunately for me I suffer from agoraphobia so a trip to town to return them is more difficult on me than to eat the cost of the item, even though I am disabled and cannot afford to waste money. Luckily I know someone they fit and feel warm for so the booties are a Christmas present for a neighbor and at least someone will benefit from them, even though the purchase was a total loss and big disappointment for me.
