Solid Pack

This is my first Eddie Bauer backpack and my usual go-to is either Patagonia or North Face. The pack design looks great, professional yet still maintains an outdoorsy/adventurous appearance. Keeping this from a full five stars are two items I noted: One is the water bottle holders on the sides, they are a bit narrow and too small to fit wider bottles such as a standard sized Nalgene or Hydroflask. Additionally, the pack is a bit long for my torso (I am a female at 5'7", athletic build). I understand this isn't a female specific pack but I've rarely had issues with unisex or men's packs. The end of the pack rides below my pant line even though I've pulled the shoulder straps as tight as they can go - I wouldn't want to hike with it, but serves as a great commuter pack I use daily to-and-from work. The main pocket is pretty deep and smaller items fall to the bottom (books, small notebook, water bottle that doesn't fit in the side pocket). But, makes for a lot of room to roll a jacket into or stuff your lunchbox. Other than that than, nice bag, highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for

I wanted a backpack that I could use as my primary luggage on weekend trips. It is slimmer than I expected, but it's so tall that it fits a weekend worth of clothes and toiletries. It's sleek and has many pockets so there is a lot of storage. It's comfortable and will work for day hikes. It's also lightweight. I'm very happy with my purchase.

High quality, lots of room and pockets, good looking bag

Great bag with plenty of room for books, computers, etc. Good looking bag...I've received several positive comments about the bag.

Lots of pockets

Nice looking bag, not much structure to it. Tons of pockets. Kind of expensive, though.
