Okay Cooler

This bag looks great and it does the job. I just wish the quality was better. I ordered mine online, so I was not able to inspect it prior to purchasing. There's a lot of strings hanging around the zippers.

PDX Hiker

Hand free Cooler

This my first backpack cooler and I found very usefully. The bag is roomy enough for foods and drinks. The extra pockets on both side is good to put water bottles.

Perfect for a picnic/hike! We are planning on heading up to two lakes as soon as the snow clears! The only reason I give the backpack four stars on quality is because all my other packs are military grade. However I was totally expecting the quality I got!

Finally purchased when price was right

I finally purchased this cooler last spring. I had looked at it several times online and found it at an outlet store and I had a rewards certificate, so I bought it for much cheaper than the original price. I love the idea of the backpack cooler. I have tried many coolers over the years as my sons play baseball in spring and summer. I usually have a chair and a cooler with me at all times, so having a backpack style is very beneficial. I used it quite a bit last summer. I use ice packs vs. loose ice and I didn't have any issues with leakage. A few issues I do have are the following:Depth of cooler: This is a bit of an issue as you have to be strategic in placement of food as what is on top will not stay as cold if the ice packs are on the bottom and you have to dig quite a bit to get to the bottom. Two side pockets: I appreciate the idea of the two side pockets. However, there is not much flexibility in the material. They would be even BETTER if these were a stretchable material to allow for some flexibility for varying size bottles/cups. Outer sleeve on the front: This would also be better if it was a little bigger or had a little more give to it. It doesn't hold a lot.It still looks great and has held up well through my spring and summer use and I will continue to use it primarily because of the backpack design. I have seen quite a few other brands at stores that seem to have quite a few more pockets and storage which I would like, but for now I'll use this one.
