Pack smaller than what is needed.

i am looking for a backpack to replace a roller bag for travel overseas. this pack isn't big enough for that purpose.

well balanced pack

Got this pack over a year ago and was finally able to take it on an overnight trip this past weekend on the AT near Roanoke Va. Pack was well balanced even when extended to 55 L. good pocket storage and lots of options on the outside of the pack to tie things on. shoulder adjustment straps for me were great as they allow you to balance the load to your preference. love the zippered entry on the side for access to items down in your pack without having to go through the top. 8 miles into the second day and the pack still felt great. as mentioned by other posts, main con is lack of instructions on the details of the pack. you can tell a lot of thought went into the design of the pack, just wish it was better communicated. looking forward to my next trip with this pack.

Would not buy this - the shoulder straps are extremely painf

The construction is good; plenty of room in the pack and lots of good pockets and space; however, the shoulder straps are marginally (if at all) padded. I took this on a 10-day backpacking trip though Europe; we walked between 6-12 miles per day and I found my shoulders were screaming early into the day. I was surprised at how bad it felt. I wish I could return it because I cannot see myself ever using this again, even for short trips. Don't buy.

Nice pack

The pack is nice, but I wish it had instructions on all the options it has. I figured things out using YouTube and playing with it. I like how it has options to remove parts I don't need all the time, ie. BFF Pad, waist belt, which helps to reduce weight.
