These pants are of a nice quality, but they do run large. I am usually a medium, but they were very large. I exchanged them for an XS, and they fit quite nicely. I have not worn them in the field, so I cannot attest to their functionality.

I ordered these pants for a month long expedition I went on last May and was really happy I had them because it rained almost every single day. I wear a size 6 in all my EB pants so I ordered the small thinking it would be no problem because EB is usually really good about sizing for layering when an item is designed to do so. I am 5'3", with long legs for my height and an hourglass shape. The pants however, were extremely tight over my bum and had a really short crotch. The snap on one of the pant legs broke the first time I wore them but the fit everywhere else was fine. I always wore leggings underneath and made do because I didn't have another option out where I was. They were fantastic at keeping me dry and I was so glad I had them but they just felt too too small. I returned the pants when I returned from my trip and will be ordering a size medium because as far as rain pants go, they kept me dry and happy and that's the most important part.
