I bought a man's tall for the extra length (vs. woman's tall) so it would cover my rear end while wearing leggings with it.

First I want to address the "noise" people say this jacket makes. I find this jacket extremely quiet relative to the 2 other light rain jackets I have and especially a hard-shell gore-tex rain jacket I also have. This is very quiet and almost has a 'supple' feeling to it. The vents under the arm-pits are phenomenal, I absolutely love these because I overheat easily and these are a game changer for keeping me cool in the warmer months. It's extremely light, the seams are well sealed and while I'm sure it's not as ideal as a hard shell during a torrential downpour, it's probably the most perfect jacket I could ever hope to find to keep you dry on those light rainy days yet cool during the warmer temps. Well done Eddie Bauer!
