It seems like this jacket doesn't have the proper amount of down insulation. For comparison, I also own an EB First Ascent Downlight jacket which is also 800 fill power but that jacket appears to have almost twice the amount of down insulation as this one! At least that's the impression when compressing the down and comparing them side by side. The Downlight has more loft and far more fill weight. I'll test it out for a few days but have a feeling I'll be returning this BC StormDay Jacket. Disappointed because this jacket is $200+ higher than the Downlite...
