I Immediately fell in love with the fit, feel and look of this jacket. Its cut a bit roomy for moderate layering BUT still fits well with just a long sleeve base layer. Once you run your hands over the fabric your going to immediately fall in love with how soft and supple the fabric feels. I've had this jacket for a week, wore it 3 times and got caught out in the rain once. The fabric and DWR coating had the rain beading up and bouncing off the fabric immediately. This fabric is 3 layers BUT is very thin. Not so thin that it feels delicate. The fabric is soft and feels durable like it has a strong weave to it. I'm very curious to see how the fabric will hold up over time since it's more of a soft brushed smooth fibrous fabric rather than harder nylon hard shell. Very happy to see a inside zippered pocket and 2 sizeable hip pockets with waterproof zippers. I was very impressed with the jackets hood which has a one point adjustment in the rear, cinches down well around the head and still provides good peripheral vision. If your looking for a lightweight highly weather resistant comfortable piece with a hood and great range of motion this is it. If your wearing a long sleeve lightweight or mid weight base layer under this then you should be comfortable in temps ranging from high 40's to high 50's In the coming weeks I will be testing this jacket for longer durations in the rain to see how much it can handle.
