EB tops are so A-line and unflattering, and often very difficult to tie up at the waist in an effort to balance the shape, but the drape on this fabric is so good that it ties up great, even with the zip pocket. The drape is nice, for a change. Shoulders of course fit small as usual, middle/waist area is super wide, so order sizes accordingly - my shoulders are my widest point, not my bust, so those size charts are irrelevant for me. I also have the men's version, the fit is much better. Thankfully, I have a seam-ripper that I can use to remove all the EB girl scout badges since I am not an EB employee. Grateful they can be removed. If not, would return. Also, men's always have more features as well as better fit. I am grateful for sunglasses loop, though I wear Rx everything, sooo...... unless I am taking an indoor and an outdoor pair of glasses or using fitovers, which is rare, I keep the same glasses on my head at all times. The side pocket is probably more novelty than actual function for me, but it's nice to have some sort of pocket along with a smooth front. I do love pockets, so kinda just glad they didn't leave it off altogether.

I picked this up in the store on clearance and half off, so it was a good buy, but it's also a very attractive and versatile shirt. Very lightweight, so I can wear it in the warmer weather when kayaking or hiking and want to keep the sun off of my arms. It's nice enough that I can wear it out to dinner later, although I did have to carefully remove the sport shop logo on the sleeve to make it more presentable. (Note to manufacturers: I get that you want us to advertise your clothes for you, but can you maybe put logos on less visible places, like maybe the bottom of the shirt, more like the "Free Dry" label on this one? If the shirt garners compliments, the wearer can simply say "Thanks, I got it at Eddie Bauer.") I typically wear Eddie Bauer medium shirts (I'm 5'3", 135 lbs.) and this fit true to size (although I always try on shirts before ordering now, as sizes seem to fluctuate a lot from year to year). The chambray blue color is nice!
