Nice base layer, not as thick as expected but every bit as warm.

The fit is tight but for what it's made for (under garment for cold weather) it fits appropriately. I love that you can unzip the neck if hot or full zip up for the cold or wind. I think it was a bit expensive but it is Merino Wool

This quarter zip base layer is very well made and the mid weight is perfect for layering. The material has some "slip" so it isn't as difficult to wear with more grabby fabrics. I walked this morning in 22 degree weather wearing it under a lightweight fleece and packable quilted jacket and didn't feel the cold at all. Normally I would be between a small and a medium but I chose the medium and it fits perfectly. The longer length is nice as well.
