I almost didn't try these shorts, because they don't have a drawstring, which I normally have in my running shorts. I tried them in store, and decided to give them a chance. They are amazing! They don't ride down even a millimeter on a long run, they wick sweat, they are super soft, and they are flattering. No problems with pilling; I wash them on cold and hang to dry like all my exercise wear. These provide gentle compression, not high compression, but that's what I prefer. They don't cut into my waist or my thighs. They are also excellent for yoga and walking. The phone pocket is perfect—-totally secure while running, and I forget my phone us even there.

I love anything that is Movement Lux. The fabric is devine, has the perfect amount of stretch and compression to keep you comfortable AND held in for high impact activities particularly. I am so happy to see that Eddie Bauer came out in a shorts version of this style. I have at least 10 pairs of 7/8 and capri length Movement Lux pants and now look to add the shorts to my collection. As a daily exerciser, these are a staple in my workout wear wardrobe. The material is wonderful! It is thicker than a competitors Align tight; however, I actually prefer Movement Lux over it. There is no opaqueness or see through to the material for squats, the fabric is buttery soft and breathes perfectly. So many athletic fabrics out there do not breathe enough and I find they create rashes when I get pretty sweaty. I have sensitive skin and do not like pure spandex or pure nylon leggings or shorts. The compression is spot on! As someone in her 50's with a loss of collagen due to aging, we older women, need a bit more support in our leggings. It also hides any skin imperfections. In terms of sizing, I stayed in my normal XS to get the compression I wanted. I also found the waist band was a bit big on me if I sized up. I do not like super tight things and my normal size allowed for the balanced compression and comfort I wanted. It does require the normal dressing effort of a tighter fitting tight if you do not size up. The only thing I would have changed, is to make these shorts a little shorter in a 7" inseam. I do not particularly care for 9" inseams as they are not as flattering and too long. That being said, I love these so much, I will deal with it! I highly recommend the entire Movement Lux line! You will not be disappointed!

I LOVE the fact y'all have biker shorts! They are necessary and I enjoy wearing them for leisure or working out. The issue I'm having is it says they're made of the EXACT same percentage of material as the movement luxe high rise capri leggings and regular leggings and they do not at all feel the same. They don't suck you as much. They're not as "elastic/stretchy" as the leggings. They're not as "smooth" feeling, either. I enjoy them and they stay up whenever I work out which is a plus, but the material is completely different. You can tell there's definitely a difference between them. I would recommend them to somebody because they're very comfortable, but wouldn't recommend them based on the material.
