I've worn shirt several times in our cooler and rainy spring weather. Haven't washed yet bur expect it will wash in cool water and dry well either on a hanger or on a delicate/cooler dryer. Happy with this purchase.

I have a 36 inch chest and hip measurement, and the medium fit very well in the shoulders. I compared it to a size 8 petite denim button down shirt by J. Crew, and the shoulders were the same. The problem for me was the length. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall with a very short torso and longer legs. I didn't understand what a "released hem" meant. There is no bottom seam. It looks like there used to be one, and someone took it out.. This might work for very tall ladies (it's a nice shirt), but it made the shirt extra long on me. The length was not flattering. I was just going to return it as a damaged item, but then I noticed "released hem" in the title. Also, I was hoping for an off-white. This "ecru" color looks as white as my husband's white work shirts. I love the idea of this shirt though. If they make this shirt with a bottom hem, offered petite sizes, and the shirt was more of an ivory color, I'd love it forever. It would be a great versatile layering piece.

Normally, I wear a 1X or a 2X in most brands. I bought this in a 2X in this. I assume it was a Plus 2X and not the Reg XXL. These distinctions are always confusing. Let me start with the pro's: it's a heavy weight shirt, well made, and the cut is nice. It's not a bright white but definitely "ecru"--off white. Con's: it is so big in kind of an odd way. Notice in the pic how it blouses at the small and upper part of the model's back. That's where it is huge. it's so large you don't even feel the shirt on your back at all. You'd think that would make the blouse look really big all over, but it doesn't. It's big all over for sure, but not huge. In the front, it looks ok--passable. The arms are the perfect length. It hangs off the shoulders slightly, but not too bad. The sleeves are not too baggy, and the chest is roomy, but not too much. And it doesn't look excessively wide from the front. But the side view--that blousey back puffs out and it looks huge. I'd like to order the 1x Plus to see if that's the right fit, but they don't have it. I'm concerned to go with the XXL that the arms and bust may be too snug. I guess it'll have to go back. :(
