I am 6'4", gangly, and 28 years old. Your mileage may vary. Maybe I got the sizing wrong, but I had a few shots at it. I've never had such a temperamental pair of pants.
If you're tall, these pants tend to be clingy. Again, I'm gangly, so clingy is not a usual occurrence for me. I think the rise is too low. If the pants are worn uncomfortably low on the waist, they are not so clingy.
They are are less clingy in 31-35 than 31-34, but I think the problem was actually worse when I tried 31-36. So it seems to be a problem with the width and shape of the leg pattern.
The seat is too tight, as well. Again, I'm gangly, so this is a surprise. The pockets pucker or pop out, which confirms the tight seat. I don't want to look goofy or be a distraction, and this flies in the face of that goal.
The waist on these pants leaves little room for error, maybe because of the French fly. A 31 is just a touch snug, especially after a few French *fries*. A 32 is too loose, and bunches up uncomfortably under the belt.
I tried the relaxed fit, which was way too baggy.
For daily use, I'm making do with cargo pants from a lower-end chain. They're great. They're also the masculine alternative to a purse. (The American carryall?) But they just won't go with a shirt and tie to Sunday Mass.
The odd part about all this is I grew up wearing plain and simple 90s clothes. Modest. Comfortable. Not baggy. Not tight. Somebody moved my cheese. I know it wasn't Eddie Bauer alone, of course. Such is life. It's just strange to find yourself going "Man, when I was a kid," before you're 30.
TL;DR, if you're lanky, these might not work for you.

My son has long legs and needed to buy the type so the the leg length could be adjusted. Great quality for his work as a PTA. Therapist required to wear khakis.

These are great looking pants, styling is great. Pants feel well, just run slightly small.

Great fit, nicely custom hemmed. Be aware though, with same inseam, the flat front pair was slightly shorter than the pleated front on body. Have not dried in dryer, not sure if they would shrink. Love how casually dressy they are.
