I wasn't sure about this sweater when I ordered it on line but it's here and it's great! Very casual and cozy for the fall and winter in Chicago. The bears are not as dark on my sweater as they are on the photo on line but it's just fine with me. It's heavy but not so much that you can't wear it with a jacket or coat. Also a bit itchy but I wouldn't wear it without a t-shirt or blouse anyway. Good quality too so I hope this lasts for years!
This sweater is very nice and falls in line with the campfire sweater coat from last year which I got in both colors. Very heavy (but not bulky or weighty on) and well made. Perfect length for me bc I'm pretty short, falls on me as shown in picture. True to size and warm. Just got it and haven't washed it yet, but the similar ones from last year washed beautifully. The pockets on this one is different from last years sweater coat and I think I like it better. Just beautiful even though I'm not too outdoorsy and the theme is kinda that but I don't care! Love it anyway!! The only "complaint" I have, which is not a big deal but something I noticed, is that the ones in the store and mine ordered online do not have the faux leather pull nor the diamond shaped EB patch on the back like last years did. Still love!! Been shopping exclusively at EB for 15 years and am a fan for life. Love that I can wear the XXL regular size tops and sweaters which are shorter than plus sizes and not always carried in plus anyway ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
To be fair, I haven't worn this sweater yet, as it hasn't been cold enough where I live, but I'm looking forward to the first day that I can. I saw it in the store first, and the online and catalog photos don't do it justice. The colors are earthy and muted, but very pretty. The green of the trees really pop, and the fit is just right--not too snug, not too loose or bulky. I would not have paid full price for this sweater, because as with most EB garments these days, I think it was overpriced. However, I got it when everything in the store was 30% off, which made it a much better deal. If you love winter cardigans, this one looks like a keeper!
