Good pack, but small

Comments about First Ascent|Gear|Backpacks & Duffels Vert 18L Pack:

This pack is well made and has lots of great features, but it is too small for me for backcountry skiing. I tried to get all my normal gear inside, beacon, probe, puffy jacket, 1st aid kit, etc., but ran out of space. I didn't try the ski holders, but they looked good. It might work for a resort or spring skiing pack when you are traveling light and not too far.

Comments about First Ascent|Gear|Backpacks & Duffels Vert 18L Pack:

Perfect backpack for day trips. I recently used this pack for 3-days of skiing at Big Sky Montana. Perfect for hydration pack, food, extra gloves, extra layer, or goggles. Very light pack I barely noticed over 3-days of hard skiing.
