Nice Shirt .....Runs Small

Comments about Men's Versatrex® Long-Sleeve Ripstop Shirt:

Runs small. I'm about 6'4" 190#. Tried a size large on in the store and it was way too small. EB "regular" shirts usually just fit my long arms and I don't like the extra length in the body that a tall size gives. I ordered a large tall through the store and it fits great.

Colors not as pictured. Tight across chest & shoulders

By Frank

from Virginia

Comments about Men's Versatrex® Long-Sleeve Ripstop Shirt:

Before my latest order of this shirt, I already owned two of them in Regular XL, one in Navy and one in Dark Smoke, purchased about a year ago. These are true to the colors in the photos, even after many washings. Unfortunately, after a few washings they were too short all around and too tight across the chest. Since I liked the style of the shirts, I decided to order two replacements, this time in Tall XL. I ordered Dark Smoke and Saddle. Well, the new Dark Smoke shirt is dramatically lighter than my original Dark Smoke and much lighter than the product photo. Far from dark, it is really more like light grey. And the Saddle is a much lighter-than-pictured khaki color, just like another reviewer said. They are also too tight against the chest and shoulders even before washing, with the second to top button seemingly ready to pop. I am a slim guy, not big-chested, and I normally have plenty of room in this size.

One other difference between the old and new (too light) shirts is the new ones have a 'Specially Dyed' tag inside, which the older shirts don't have, and the new care labels are the same color as the shirts, rather than white, as if the dye bled into them, perhaps during a factory garment washing process. My hypothesis is something went wrong with the new dye process, causing the dye to bleed out during garment washing, leaving the shirts much lighter than intended. I have a feeling this is why they are half the original price. It would have been nice if the color discrepancy was mentioned on the website. I am returning them for a refund but I am out $9.99 in shipping costs, plus another $6 for return shipping. Not happy with EB right now.
