Comments about Travex® Expedition Drop Bottom Rolling Duffel - Extra Large:

This is a great bag at a great value. However, there are no cinch straps inside to keep things from pooling at the bottom of the bag. And, I worry about the fact that it can easily weigh in over 50lbs and still not be full, it may cause some problems with airline weight allowances. I can easily fit 3 pairs of shoes, a suit, 10 shirts, a rain jacket, a small light weight backpack and all the underwear you need for two weeks in this bag. Just make sure you weigh it before going to the airport. It's pretty rugged too. My first trip with this bag had 7 flights, numerous opportunities for hotel porters, bus drivers and other gorillas to damage it and it came home looking almost like new. I also packed two glass items and they survived.

Comments about Travex® Expedition Drop Bottom Rolling Duffel - Extra Large:

Bought it to send my daughter to Study abroad. It was perfect. But when she flew from Cincinnati to Newark and took the bag off the luggage belt there was a huge slice but the handle. Not sure if it didn't hold up or was poorly handled but willing to buy again as she loves it.

Comments about Travex® Expedition Drop Bottom Rolling Duffel - Extra Large:

I bought this bag primarily for hunting travel. The extra large drop bottom holds my firearm takedown case and various heavy hunting clothing while the top duffel holds my boots and remaining gear with ease.

My hunting buddies are jealous. One of them purchased one for himself.

We also used this as our checked bag on a recent river cruise in Europe. It easily handled our clothes, footwear, and souvenirs and gifts.

Wheels roll with not problems, all the hardware works well and the fabric is quite strong and resilient.

Comments about Travex® Expedition Drop Bottom Rolling Duffel - Extra Large:

The bag is 34+19+15=68 - all airlines have an allowable maximum of 62 inches total. This bag is four inches over. Just being 4 inches over can cost you $200 for oversize baggage fee. Go for the medium bag. Cheaper to check two under $100 than to check one at $200 plus
