Bummed, I have to return it

Comments about Travex® Pack:

I ordered this because it was terrifically deep. Unfortunately, the way they've designed the zipper, you can't take advantage of the depth at the bottom of the pack! The opening at the top doesn't go all the way down and it was almost impossible to squish my lunchbox cooler through the top, although it fit well in the bottom. So disappointed - seems like such a dumb design mistake.

Poor Quality

Comments about Travex® Pack:

Liked the bag in the beginning, but the side entry for the laptop compartment turned out to be nonpractical and the opening is too small. If you have a wireless mouse with a receiver you need to unplug it eveytime, otherwise it will brake easily when you try to slide the laptop inside the bag.
Also, the zipper to the main compartment broke after less then a year.

Comments about Travex® Pack:

Very handy pack, although it would be nice if the top zipper opening was larger. Very difficult to see in the pack and find things-opening too small. I bought it because it slips onto my other bag which was great.

        Comments about Travex® Pack:

In terms of size and basic comfort, this is a good pack. The design is almost good. The top zipper is too short. If you put anything more than a cell phone in the front tricot-lined cell phone pocket, it bulges into the main compartment, making it difficult to place or retrieve other objects therefrom. If you then put anything other than a perfectly flat scarf in the mesh pocket on the rear of the main compartment, you cannot look inside, much less retrieve anything large.

Load adjusting straps are crucial because of the shape of the pouch. Everyone who has carried my pack comments that one strap or another slips off the shoulder (most people have one shoulder longer than the other. A hip belt is crucial because of the size.

The lining material crackles. The crackle has not diminished over a month of use.

The stitching is poor. It gave way on the hanging loop and the top handle.

Finally, while the laptop zipper is adequate, it works only for a tru 15" laptop. Anything more is too large. The document compartment zipper similarly is too narrow. Two inches more would mean you can put it a letter sized envelope without folding.

The design is almost good. With a few more details and better workmanship, it could be great.
