    Comments about Stash Gloves:

I bought these gloves as my primary active-during-cold-weather gloves and they've performed like champs. First time I used them was during an ascent of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire during January and they were great - more than warm enough (as long as you have your heart pumping a bit), water repellent, and not overly bulky. I've since used them plenty of times and they've withstood everything I've thrown at them and come out still looking pristine. Favorite features - included Nikwax waterproofing; gauntlets with ingenious cinching/uncinching system; warmth; extreme inside hand comfort. A few things to note though. As another reviewer said, they don't have wrist straps to hang off your wrists when you get warm. That would be nice but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. Instead of that, I would prefer if EB put a small webbing loop on the outside of one finger on each glove (see the Heli Guide Glove) in order to hang them from a pack or belt and not get snow in them. Additionally, it does seem a little pricey. As essentially a beefed up version of the Guide Glove I would expect it to be closer to its little brother's price range (maybe ~140), which is still expensive but I would just look out for a sale on it. All in all, bomber gloves.

      Comments about Stash Gloves:

I bought these for keeping warm while snoblowing. The winter of 2013- 2014 in NY. hasn't stopped snowing yet, and with very cold single digit temps. My fingers froze. I'm sure they will perform well in warmer temps. Very comfortable. Maybe I used them for the wrong purpose.

For another $50 I got a whole parka with 800 down loft from Marmot! These gloves are way over priced. Really--they're gloves

      Not bad, but....

      Comments about Stash Gloves:

I got these gloves at 40% off, which made the price not too terrible. I was disappointed, however, that they didn't have any kind of wrist strap to keep the gloves attached if they are removed while skiing. I think that's a big oversight. So while they look and feel nice, and seem to be high quality, I returned them. I think if skiing is your primary use for them, they won't cut it. It you want them for other activities, and the strap is not important to you, they might be perfect.
