    Comments about Sorcerer Pack:

I've owned and hiked with Granite Gear (2nd best), TNF, Kifaru, and Arc'teryx packs. All have lacked in one aspect or another. I can honestly say that this pack checks every box. It is very well constructed, sheds water, lightweight, very comfortable/ergonomic, and packs extremely well. Finally found the perfect pack!

      Comments about Sorcerer Pack:

I've taken this pack across three continents --I've hiked, climbed mountains, kayaked, caught trains, rode busses, and even been in a couple fjords and canyons with this thing. It's been a great pack. If you need something that can withstand an arctic snowstorm --this is it.

I got it on a 40% off sale right after it came out because I wanted an ultralight pack. I didn't think it was large enough, and honestly it really isn't --but I've adjusted how much stuff I travel with (and that's fairly liberating). It's a great pack in every single way. I've slept on the integrated sleeping mat in train stations in Euope, as well in bus stations in Mexico, the US and Canada --makes those layovers much easier (I also use an Eddie Bauer pack able jacket for a pillow). It doesn't stop there, I also used the sleeping mat to insulate my ultralight sleeping pad from the cold Siberian ground so I didnt carry more weight helping to blaze the great Baikal trail.

I cannot tell you with words just how much I've done with this pack and just how happy I am with it. Sometimes I still wish it got bigger but for the most part I appreciate every little thing from how adjustable the load handling straps are to the weight to the weather proofing to the great ability to carry more load on the outside. It's just an awesome pack. I've taken to Siberia, to Mount Raineer, to the PCT, to the AT, across Scandinavia and Germany and Switzerland --and I'll be taking it up Kilamanjaro soon enough. It's just that fricking awesome.

          Comments about Sorcerer Pack:

This pack is amazing. I have been using it now since October, and it has not let me down in any way, and has even gone so far as to surprise me with it's features I did not even consider when getting the pack.

For one, its basically waterproof. I say basically because it's not a "dry bag" in the sense it can be submersed, but it will shed most moisture with ease. For example-- on an late fall climbing trip in the north cascades, we got rained out, POURING rain. Without any liner, or extra care all of my stuff was dry by the time we got back to the car. The water literally beads off this space age awesome fabric. This also comes in handy during Ice climbing season, or on any snow travel for that matter, as you can literally just throw the pack down into the snow and not worry about your stuff getting wet.

I transferred to this pack from the alchemist, and love every part of it. The straps are incredibly comfortable, and the pack carries closer to the body and a little slimmer than the alchemist did, which is a bonus when climbing alpine routes.

Overall, this pack delivers well more than you would think it would, even for the $499 Price tag, and has replaced 3 packs that were used for different conditions.
