Comments about Men|Accessories|Gloves Powder Search Touchscreen Gloves:

Was hesitant to purchase and bought these at the Rapid City, S.D. store and Brant one of the numerous longtime knowledgeable staff members was listening to my needs and suggested these gloves. They appear to be somewhat lightweight and having experienced spending big money on other gloves and being disappointed - I shared my concern - he said if I wasn't completely happy I could return... I returned and bought two additional pair for myself and now my partner has them and we just bought a pair for her oldest son to use for snowboarding this winter as even she expressed concerns and not believing in their warmth and she is now a believer and I can't wait to see how her son likes his.... and a HUGE bonus is the 50% off sale Eddie Bauer runs. I'm a long time customer and they stand behind their products!! Go first class and get their First Ascent and You will be back to get more...

Great new gloves for skiing at Whistler!

Comments about Men|Accessories|Gloves Powder Search Touchscreen Gloves:

I bought these gloves when they were on sale to replace my aging Stick-It Component System ones. I was slightly concerned that they do not seem nearly as bulky as my other ones, so thought they might not be warm enough. After a day in -8° C on the slopes, I found that they kept my fingers warm - probably warmer than my old gloves. I'm not the kind of person who normally gets cold hands/feet while skiing, so if you are that type, you may not find these warm enough, or if you live in harsher winter climates. I like the synthetic palm material - not only from a wear perspective, but also grip on ski poles. I didn't/don't use them with my iPhone, so can't comment on how well they work with touch screens. My hands do sweat slightly when skiing, so I need to dry my gloves after use. Putting them over the air register for the evening is all that I need to dry them out for the next day's skiing. From a fit perspective, I find that my hands normally are too big for typical mediums, but swim a little bit in large-sized gloves. From the base of my palm to the tip of my 2nd finger measures 19 centimetres, and the Large fits me quite nicely, except that the thumb is a little bit long. I would not be able to wear the Mediums at all. I have relatively slender hands, and the Powder Search fits relatively snug on me - if you have beefy digits, you'll have trouble with these gloves.

Decent gloves but do not breath

Comments about Men|Accessories|Gloves Powder Search Touchscreen Gloves:

Returning these. My hands get wet early since the gloves don't breathe, although I have to say the hands still stay warm even after the liners get wet. And with the lining wet when you go to remove the gloves, the lining tends to come with you and it can be hard to get them on again. Gloves do run small, I always get medium and these are snugger than most. I've probably had at least 20 ski gloves in my life. These dry slower than other gloves, most of mine are dry by the next morning but these, unless you use a glove or boot dryer on them, will still be wet the next morning. Not satisfactory as a ski glove. I used these skiing in Vermont and Utah.
