SCHOELLER® FABRIC WITH 3XDRY®

The 3XDry finish on these high–tech Swiss fabrics repels moisture from the outside, wicks moisture to the surface from the inside, and dries quickly. It's also stain–resistant and highly breathable.

StormRepel®

Our durable water–repellent (DWR) finish causes moisture to bead up on the surface so it rolls off or evaporates rather than soaking into the fabric.

"When I go to work, I put on these pants and don't take them off until I get home, sometimes for weeks. The fit is awesome. And they feel great."

Just wore these for the first time since purchasing them around Christmas.
Ran just under 6 miles in blizzard snow conditions. The pants were comfortable, kept me warm and dry without overheating, critical for exercise in extreme weather conditions.
Coud not be happier with the purchase. Would highly recommend this product for any outdoor winter activity.

I bought this pant after several people suggesting me that it was the perfect gear for climbing Mt. Rainier at least to a certain elevation and maybe need a hard shell after that. My climb is coming up in August 2015 and I will be able to review it completely for what its worth only then. For now I used it to shovel snow and take out trash which is quite the distance from my house. I know its not much but with no long johns on when I am doing the above mentioned tasks, I still don't feel a thing in spite of the weather being in its teens. I just feel as comfortable as wearing my pjs except for the waist which is a little snug. I bought a medium which is 32-34" waist but my current shape is a tad bit on the heavy side and I believe I should be able to fit in it perfectly by August as I am training hard for the climb.

I am 5' 10", 170 lb., 33 waist. The Mountain Guide Light Pant I ordered in medium were a perfect fit, trim but not too tight. The material is light but very windproof and water resistant. I haven't used them for x-country skiing or snowshoeing yet, due to lack of snow, but I have used them for extended walks in single-digit wind chills. They were warm enough without using a base layer. I expect them to be perfect for any aerobic activities. They seem a little expensive but, on sale, they are a good value.

These are well made pants and they are so comfortable to wear. Be aware though, these pants run big. I usually wear an extra large and ordered that size. They were huge on me. Also, I really wish these were made in a petite. In order for the crotch to sit correctly, the waist comes well above my belly button, almost to just under my breasts. Also the inseam was very long. Even with those problems, I love the pants enough that I will order them in a large and put up with the problems of them not having the pants in a petite. It's not a huge deal for me because this is the way most pants fit me and always have. Maybe they will make them in a petite soon. Hint, hint. ;)
