Live Your Adventure®

Built with soft, breathable stretch technology for ultra-versatile, water-repellent alpine warmth. The most comfortable and versatile cold weather active jacket we've ever made. New fabric and insulation technologies provide next level warmth, comfort, mobility, and convenience. The stretch nylon is lightweight, soft, flexible, and super-breathable. Everything you need while active in cold weather. Wear alone or layer under a shell for alpine climbing, backcountry skiing, or hiking.

"I left it on from the trailhead at 7400' to about 9400' moving at about 1750 vertical feet/hour. Everyone else had already peeled a layer, but I wanted to test the breathability. I was surprised how long I went before I got too hot. Normally I would have been in a Sandstone or a T-shirt."

Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's IgniteLite Flux Stretch Hooded Jacket:

This would have been perfect except for the lack of tall sizing available. Even going up a size couldn't remedy this.

Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's IgniteLite Flux Stretch Hooded Jacket:

I took this as a mid-layer jacket to wear under a shell on a trip to Iceland in November (start of winter) and it was nothing short of spectacular. Temps were typically around 20-40f so it really wasn't too cold, but when combined with a 40-80mph wind, things were a little brisk. Most days were a mix of light rain, sleet, and/or snow.

Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's IgniteLite Flux Stretch Hooded Jacket:

I ordered this Flux hooded jacket end of August. My first opportunity to wear it was October 28. The weather was 38 F with west wind 15 to 25 mph and light snow. The jacket was insufficient. I was chilled and both arms experienced cold spots, despite a heavy flannel shirt underneath.

I returned this item, my first ever to Bauer. Sorry, Eddie.

            I really like this jacket!

Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's IgniteLite Flux Stretch Hooded Jacket:

I used this jacket to climb Mt. Elbert, a Colorado 14er. I wore a mid-weight base layer and this jacket. Started at 8am and temp at trail head was in the 30s. Temp at summit was in the high teens. Winds were 10-15 mph. Never had to add or remove a layer for the whole hike. Jacket is stretchy and moved well. Material breathes well. At times I was hot and vented using the front zipper to cool down. Got cold too and put the hood on and that fixed that. I'm 6'1" and the XL fits me well.
