Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's Downlight StormDown Hooded Jacket:

I am 6'2" 185lbs and 33" waist. The medium was too small all around, the medium tall was too tight in the shoulders and chest and the large fit my shoulders but had so much extra belly room that I would have to gain 40+ lbs to make it even close to fitting. The shell material is ok but not as packable as the Pertex quantum GL found in other options. At full price there are far better options out there, with Eddies amazing sales I would love to own one again of they ever go back to a more athletic cut. Unfortunately I had to take mine back. Oh and Eddie Bauer uses the absolute worst shipping known to man. Over the last 10+ orders it has taken 11-15 days to arrive.

Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's Downlight StormDown Hooded Jacket:

The jacket is decent but is one size small in size. Also, downs(little feathers) seems to popout. Not sure how this will affect the quality long-term. The jacket is warm.

Comments about First Ascent|Men|Jackets & Vests Men's Downlight StormDown Hooded Jacket:

Got this great coat at a great price using EBs available discounts. 16 ounces, very warm, great fit, very good look, hood doesn't have draw cinch but is fitted well. DWR finish on down and coat is a much needed upgrade I needed for all my mountain climbing, backpacking trips for warmth and safety. Great addition to my outdoor apparel. Very pleased and First Ascent is among the top of the line gear!
