The primary goal of our Sport Shop sizing is to achieve both freedom of movement and maximum function. Unlike oversized garments with excess fabric, our engineered patterns allow unrestricted arm movement—both up and forward—while also reducing bulk. Through extensive field testing we have discovered that this performance fit prevents interference when hunting and shooting. But if you still prefer a loose fitting shirt or jacket, please size up one size.

    I really like this jacket. It is almost perfect. The only things I wish it had more pockets, and it doesn't breath very well. Even at 40 degrees out with a longs sleeve T-Shirt underneath, I get hot after walking through brush all day. I wish it had vent zippers in the pits. That would make it perfect.

      I was reluctant to buy until it was recently featured at a substantial discount. I wore it for the first time this week upland bird hunting in damp, cool conditions over a fleece quarter zip. I appreciated other reviewer's comments about sizes running a large, so I ordered medium and am pleased with the fit. Bushwhacking through dense thickets was no problem owing to the durable fabric. With all the roomy pockets, I was able to carry lunch, binoculars, water bottle, extra shells, cell phone and maps with room to spare. If you want tough brush-busting capability with lots of storage and rugged good looks, buy this jacket.

      Very nice pheasant jacket

      This is a great jacket, it protects very well against rose bush thorns, tree branches, etc. The game bag easily holds a day's limit of pheasant!

      It is a little tighter than I had expected, a thick sweater underneath is *almost* enough to justify sizing up. Doesn't impede the swing of my shotgun though.

      This is now my go to hunting jacket!
