Comments about Women's Full-Length Wide Waistband Leggings:

I typically don't buy leggings and when I do they're just for lounging. I'm 5'11 and 198lbs with a pear shape. I find leggings can be pretty unforgiving when it comes to every little lump and bump of my thighs, but had hoped to find ones that were a little thicker yet still "sleek" without being shiny so that I could enjoy a cozy sweater and winter boot look. These arrived last week and fit the bill. Have worn them every day (obviously don't know about long term wear and color retention yet). They appear well-made with a waist band that (not truly wide) lays flat. I found them comfortable. I find they don't have a lot of stretch compared with many leggings, but that seems intentional and is what I wanted. I ordered an L instead of trying to squeeze myself into an M. They don't feel bulky, but are thick enough that I don't think the wind will cut right through on cooler days and firm enough to be slimming... not an unsightly lump anywhere. They are a little long for me, but I have short legs. Cute look with my flannel shirt and boots today. Will be ordering an extra pair for sure!

Comments about Women's Full-Length Wide Waistband Leggings:

These pants are fine for the price. I got them on sale for $26 and they are certainly worth that. My issue though is that they do NOT have a "wide waistband." The waistband is about an inch wide . . . . not sure how that qualifies as "wide." It is not the most flattering look. I expected something at least 2 inches wide but this size of waistband actually accentuates any sort of tummy pooch you may have. Since they were so cheap I will keep them but beware, they are not the most flattering and the name is misleading.

Comments about Women's Full-Length Wide Waistband Leggings:

I have searched for a nice fitting legging for years. I have "thick" legs, a well developed bum and a smaller waist. If I found a pair that fit my waist then the circulation in my legs would get cut off. If I found a pair that fit my legs then the waist would fall down. But these are perfect and the knees don't sag after wearing them for hours and hours (I've seen that phenomena on others). The length is good also, not too short. Just ordered the other color, I had purchased the charcoal first.

Comments about Women's Full-Length Wide Waistband Leggings:

Every year or two, I order 8 pair of leggings from Eddie Bauer, and hoard them til the previous lot has just worn out. (I wear them all day, every day, and work out in them, too. When they become thin, which takes forever, I throw them in the PJ drawer.)

The first two or three batches I got just lasted forevvvvver. So the batch I bought last year sat on the shelf for months til I needed them. I pulled a couple to pack for a trip to Europe, planning to travel extremely light, and to my horror, discovered one had a hole in it. That left me short of britches the rest of the trip. They did refund me, though, to their credit.

Fast forward to this year's trip. I pulled my last three unused pairs to pack, and this time, I wasn't horrified. I was FURIOUS. When I went to wear them, I discovered that not one, but TWO of the three brand new remaining pairs had holes in them. I ended up having to go shopping for pants on my trip.Vast waste of precious vacation time. One pair I had to toss because the hole was over the upper thigh. One pair I carted home and mended, since the hole was a big gap in the seam.

So, this morning, I am fixing to order my usual eight pair to replace the now three year old pairs I'm still wearing. No quibble at all with the quality of the older ones, but this time, I'm testing the ones from a nautical competitor. I hate to do it, because I loved the style and fit of the older EB leggings, but good grief, the quality of that last batch was just inexcusable. It appalls me to have to throw out brand new, unworn clothing.
