Comments about Comfort Camper 15 Down Sleeping Bag:

Most cold weather bags are mummy style which I can't stand. This being a rectangular bag, low weight, down filled... seemed like just ticket. I bought it and took it backpacking and love it. Very warm but did not overheat. Fluffed up quickly after getting it out of the stuff sack.

Comments about Comfort Camper 15 Down Sleeping Bag:

Hi I'm 27 yo female 5'8", 155 lbs, tall and moderately outdoorsy

It is ridiculously hard to find a light weight down sleeping bag that is not a mummy bag. I do occasionally backpack and do not like to lug around a heavy bag. This one is nice and light and the compression sack works great! I'm not sure how people sleep in mummy bags but I can't. I like to sprawl with one leg forward and one backward when I side sleep with my arms out in front of me too. This bag provides plenty of room for my side sleeping rutzing around pattern without me feeling like I'm trapped in a coffin. .

My fiance and I bought 2 and we plan on zipping them together this November when we go on our Southwest USA trip with friends. The only negative is that the fabric is slipperly so when we have them zipped together to cuddle on the couch eventually the bag ends up on the floor when we get out of it.

Is plenty warm at 40-50 degrees can't wait to use them in 20-30 F weather. Hopefully it wont be colder than that but it seems like the bag will hold up. I have not tested the bag in weather lower than 40F yet. but when I sleep in a tank top and shorts at 40-50 F I am still warm.

I do sleep on a pad or airmattress when I camp. Bag does not enough cushion to sleep just on the bag on the ground.

Comments about Comfort Camper 15 Down Sleeping Bag:

Came pretty flat when I pulled it out of the stuff sack, took a few hours to loft up to its full potential. The bottom definitely has less down then the top which was a disappointment for me because I thought I would be able to sleep with the zipper on the right or flip it upside down for a left zip. I use it in boat bunks so being able to flip it would've been nice. The bottom isn't the same color as the top, it's all black. I suspect it's 60/40 or even 65/35 down distribution from top to bottom. Two of the bottom baffles were almost completely empty when I got it. The baffle barriers between the top baffles and the bottom have a small finger size hole in each one, so it takes a while but you can read distribute the down to the bottom baffle. It took about 15 minutes just to do one baffle. Those are the reasons I knocked one star off. You just can't find rectangular down bags like this anymore that are of this quality, this comfortable and look this good. I searched everywhere on the Internet and couldn't find anything that came even close to the Eddie Bauer comfort camper 15°. I wouldn't even bother with the comfort camper 30°, I would spend the extra money and get the extra down in the 15°, it's well worth it. You can sleep just fine in 60° weather without getting too hot. It'll compress down to about the size of the football which is pretty good for a bag this big and warm. Overall I'm very pleased, enough so that I'm going to buy another.
