Nice with a caveat

Comments about Claim Touchscreen Gloves:

Nice gloves that fit well and are of good quality. However, while they have a fastening device to attach them tto each other, there is no clip to secure them to a jacket, pant, etc. Also, they tend to get very hot and do not breathe.

      Comments about Claim Touchscreen Gloves:

I've skied a lot of days in these gloves, in a wide range of temp and weather conditions, and they have performed very well. Durability is solid. Warmth is good. Fit is great, although a bit less snug than the Guide Glove. Waterproofing is good, so is breathability; they do not get clammy like some lower-end waterproof gloves.

The touch function is really good. It takes a little time to be accurate enough to text quickly, but I got the hang of it soon enough. Taking photos and making calls was easy right from the start. Now that I am used to having this function, I would not want to be without it. I use it constantly. This is a modern ski glove, and it should be the new normal.

          Comments about Claim Touchscreen Gloves:

These gloves look cool, and are soft and plushy, and would work well if you are skeet shooting in the woods in a moderately cold climate. The touchscreen option works fairly good and the water-resiliency is also good. However, these gloves are not for the professional who is in the elements a lot. I attempted moist cold weather at -4 F, and use for these gloves with a windchill of -25.9 F. They were okay, but I would not summit with them, or use them in outdoor pursuits. I think these gloves are best for use in light cold weather skiing, or running, or driving and going on light walks around the city. I can't stress enough that I love the feel of these gloves, but they just can't handle the cold.
