Best tent for less than $200 on the market!

Comments about Carbon River 2-Person Tent:

I was shopping for a tent in the $200 range so I compared this tent to the REI Half Dome 2+and found it to be slightly larger (it should really be called a 2+), lighter weight, with a sturdier pole geometry. It has a roomier interior, both in terms of sidewall steepness and overall head height. It has larger vestibules, more convenient door options, and a better integration of vestibule door entry to interior door entry. It's also $20 cheaper than the Half Dome thought it has more poles and lighter weight fabrics and materials. The fabric in terms of denier and weave are more typical of tents in the $300+ range. No other tents on the market at this price come close. Would have been a market leading tent at any price about 5 years ago, but now its a good value.

No brainer purchase, esp on sale.
