The Original Outdoor Outfitter®

A pound and a half of pure bliss, this 28-liter technical summit pack pares down weight to the mandatory minimum for lightning-fast ascents or long solo missions. Interior web skeleton of 15mm nylon webbing extends from top lid, down the front, and ties into the side compression/load stabilizers. Gives pack structure, without tension, and when load stabilizers are tightened, skeleton acts on the entire pack, pulling the load closer.

Comments about Bacon Pack:

Love this bag! It's light and packable, plus it holds a hydration bag and has retractable cable loops to hold climbing axes or trekking poles.

Lightweight but not as durable

By Michelle D

Comments about Bacon Pack:

I love the looks and idea of this pack, I'm just disappointed that the top carry strap loop broke off. I used this as my personal item to travel to Europe and we used it on our day time trips. While I used it quite a bit, and maybe not for its intended purpose, I would expect it not to have worn out so quickly. One recommendation for future design would be to include smaller inside pocket for passports or wallets or easy access for hiking essentials, as the two pockets on top made it too heavy and if I were to forget to zip it, all the contents would fall out. It does look great and unisex enough that my husband carried it as well.

      Comments about Bacon Pack:

The pack itself is very light however it is hard to keep the heaviest weight close to my spine because the pack material is too thin to hold the heavy thing in the right place. This is the trade off if you want a very light pack.
