How to Submit Your Watch for Servicing

Choose your preferred method of packaging from the list below and then follow our Mailing Instructions.

  • Fill out the Request a Mailer form and click the submit button. You'll receive a Watch Repair Mailer in 1-2 weeks.
  • Visit any Eddie Bauer store and request a Watch Repair Mailer. Find a Store
  • Phone 1-800-426-8020 and request a Watch Repair Mailer.
  • Mail the watch directly to the Watch Service Center via UPS or insured mail.

Mailing Instructions
  1. Wrap the watch carefully and place in secure packaging or the pre-addressed return mailer. Do not include the original packaging, instruction booklet, or keepsake watch band.
  2. Include name, address, phone number, a copy of the warranty and proof of purchase. Tell us what action needs to be taken (new battery, crystal replacement, etc.).
  3. Include a check for $7.50 (U.S. dollars) to cover shipping and handling.

Note: You may wish to insure the watch for full value prior to shipping and retain your shipping receipt as proof of shipment. Eddie Bauer is not responsible for lost watches.

Once the service center receives the watch, it will be repaired and returned in 3-4 weeks. If the repair is under warranty or due to a defective part, there is no additional charge (beyond the $7.50 in U.S. dollars for shipping and handling). If the repair is not under warranty, you will be sent an invoice for the repair costs.

Warranty on Eddie Bauer watches

We warrantee all of our watches purchased after May 1, 1997 for two years from the date of purchase. This warranty includes watch face, hands and movement to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If any of these parts become defective due to poor workmanship, we will, at our option, repair or replace the watch without charge after the watch is returned to our watch service center during the warranty period. If your watch is not under warranty you can still send it to our service center for repairs, but you will be charged for parts and labor.

Service (including battery replacements) and repairs on our watches should only be performed by our professionally trained technicians at the Watch Service Center, because no one knows our watches better than we do. Because all Eddie Bauer watches are water-resistant, they require special attention in order to retain their water-resistance. Our professional technicians use replacement parts built specifically for each watch.

The warranty does not cover the following repairs:

  • Battery Replacement
  • Dented Case
  • Scratched or Cracked Crystal
  • Normal Wear and Tear
  • Watch Band Replacement

Watches purchased between July 17, 1994 and May 1, 1997, have a two-year warranty on watch face, battery replacement, hand adjustment and movement. We recommended the watch be insured prior to shipping, as the Watch Service Center or Eddie Bauer is not responsible for watches that are not received. The repair envelope will outline our fee schedule for common watch repair services. You may request to be notified, after inspection, should the repair cost exceed the total cost of the services you have requested on the envelope. A shipping and handling charge of $7.50 U.S. is added to all service requests. Please allow approximately 3-4 weeks for your watch to be repaired and returned to you.
