Leave No Trace is a national and international program to help outdoor enthusiasts reduce their impacts when recreating outdoors. The program strives to educate all those who enjoy the outdoors about the nature of their recreational impacts as well as techniques to prevent and minimize such impacts. It is an educational and ethical program, not a set of rules and regulations.

America’s leading independent documentary film festival. Its mission: "Mountainfilm is dedicated to educating and inspiring audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations worth sustaining." The festival includes a full-day symposium on a pressing contemporary issue such as water (2008), food (2009) and species extinction (2010).
