| One of the world's "Seven summits", Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Americas and the highest outside of Asia. With its soaring altitude and multiple glaciers, it presents climbers with a variety of challenges. |
| Team leader Peter Whittaker has led many expeditions on Aconcagua. On this climb, he not only coordinated the efforts of the Guide team, he also monitored the performance of the clients who were participating in the climb. Waiting out a storm high on the mountain, it became clear that not all the clients would be able to make the summit. Guide Melissa Arnot lead them down to the lower camps. |
